Nicolas A. Vernicos originates from the island of Sifnos in the Cyclades of the Aegean Sea.
Married with Barbara Vernicos, they have 3 daughters, 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.
Born in 1945 and he has a M.Sc. in Economics from the Athens University of Economics (ASOEE).
