Dimitris Oikonomou. Professor Emeritus University of Thessaly, President of the Board of the National Archaeological Museum, former Deputy Minister of the Environment and Energy and former advisor to the Prime Minister. He had been Researcher in the Centre de Recherche d' Urbanisme de Paris, and National Delegate of Greece in the Committee on Housing, Building and Planning and in the Economic Commission for Europe (United Nations). He is the author of many books and papers and has directed several research programs in the fields of urban and spatial planning, urban and regional development, and environmental policy.
