Dr. Lars Ebbesson is currently Program Director of Sustainable Ocean Harvesting at EDIH Oceanopolis, Chief Scientist and Senior Aquaculture Advisor at the Norwegian Research Centre (NORCE), and a Board member of the recently formed Aquaculture Innovation Alliance. He has been the Director of the Centre for Sustainable Aquaculture Innovations. His research over the last 30 years has covered many basic and applied aspects of fish biology. He has led numerous centers, networks and projects bringing researchers and industries together with an interdisciplinary approach to solving industry challenges. His passion is to enable sustainable and digital solutions in the aquaculture sector.
