Antigone Lyberaki is an academic economist, activist, and former Member of Parliament, currently Professor at Panteion University in Athens (MPhil and PhD from IDS, University of Sussex). Her academic work examines how structural and societal issues – small enterprises, gender, migration, ageing - impinge on development, with an especial interest in Greek political economy. This led her towards academia (LSE, Sussex, EHESS) and civic engagement – as General Manager in SolidarityNow (concerned with migration), but also to political involvement –as a twice-elected MP of To Potami 2015-2019. She has published books and articles in Greek and in English.
