Ioannis Begkos serves as Acting Head of the Türkiye / East Med Division in the European External Action Service (EEAS). Ioannis Begkos brings experience on EU-Türkiye relations from his previous roles, including at the EEAS, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and think tanks. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in European Integration from the University of Reading and a degree in History from the University of Athens.
