He was born in Thessaloniki in 1974. He graduated from the School of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1997 (integrated master diploma).
In 2000, he obtained a postgraduate degree in the protection, conservation andrestoration of architectural monuments.
From the very beginning of his professional career as a freelance civil engineer in 1998, he has conducted numerous restorations of historic monuments and listed buildings, mainly in the area of Mount Athos. He has also designed and built several private, large-scale projects, and he has conducted several energy performance studies for residential and commercial buildings.
Since September 2020, he has been holding the position of General Director at the Center for Preservation of the Athonite Heritage.
Alongside his professional activity, he has always been an active member of the engineering society.

• Member of the Assembly Presidium of the Technical Chamber of Greece.

• Member of the Scientific Committee of Civil Engineers of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
• Member of the Board of Directors of Attica Bank.
• Member of the Board of Directors of the Earthquake Protection Organization (OASP).
• Member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Preservation of the Athonite Heritage.
• Member of the technical board of the Hellenic Public Real Estate Corporation.
• Technical board of directors of the ThPA S.A. Company (Port of Thessaloniki).
Finally, based on his scientific capacity, he has participated in many conferences, both as a member of the organizing committee as well as a speaker, mainly in the field of monument restoration. He was the editor-in-chief of two journals, one for the Civil Engineer Students' Association and one for the Civil Engineers' Association of Thessaloniki.
