Tassos Kotzanastassis is the founder of the 8G Group, a private equity real estate group with offices and activity in Europe, Asia and Africa. The 8G group engages in both principal and advisory activities, with a recent focus on the hospitality and residential sectors. Tassos has more than 30 years of experience in property, and his career is marked by leadership roles in prominent financial institutions and successful ventures, such as founder and managing Director of 8G Capital Partners Ltd (serving clients such as governments, private equity groups, and banks) co-founder and Director of Petra Hospitality Management (Turkey's largest third-party hotel manager) founding Director of HSBC's Principal Real Estate Investments - Europe and others. Tassos is currently a Global Governing Trustee of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and also chairs its Technology Council for EMEA. Tassos holds an Economics degree from the University of Bristol, and a Master’s degree in Land Management from Reading University. He is a Chartered Surveyor, and a CFA chartered holder.
