Dr Ben Schreer leads the Europe-Office of the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS). Previously, he was Professor of Strategic Studies at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, where he retains a honorary professorship. He was also Senior Analyst for Defence Strategy at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI). Dr Schreer is a renowned expert on Indo-Pacific and European strategic and defence affairs.
