Focus on the most common - perhaps the most dangerous in terms of consequences - categories of cyber security breach incidents (e.g. ransomware, mispostal, phishing & human risk) and tries, with practical examples, to help familiarize the participants with timely and effective response incidents of violation. The proposal also attempts to highlight the importance of transparency and disclosure of information about cyber security incidents to supervisory authorities and involved persons.

Stefanos Gritzalis is a Professor of Information and Communication Systems Security, at the Lab. of Systems Security, Dept. of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus, Greece, and Director of the Postgraduate Programme “MSc in Law and Information & Communication Technologies”.
He is listed in the top 2% of the most cited researchers in the ICT domain around the globe, as ranked by Stanford University and Elsevier (2024).
He is a Member of the Board of the Hellenic Authority for Communication Security and Privacy (ADAE). He is a Member of the Board of the National Commission for Human Rights. He was the Rector of the University of the Aegean, Greece (2014-2018). He was Special Secretary for the Hellenic Ministry for Administrative Reform and Electronic Governance (2009-2012).
