Effie Panagopoulou is a writer and creator of books, plays, songs, and stories for all ages,
blending education, culture, and social impact. Her series The Children Talk to Us (Golden
Distinction, Wellness Awards), including Theodore and the Adventure of Healthy
Eating, Christos’ Sweet Sugar-Free Story, and Who Is Upsetting Christina?, explores themes
of inclusion, diversity, and well-being, while her new project The Women Talk to
Us highlights resilience and empowerment.
Her award-winning cycle The Mythical Melodies of the Rivers (Tourism Awards 2022 &
2024), with Alpheus’ Journey featured on ERT and translated into Italian, connects Greek
mythology with nature. In theatre and opera, her works include the plays This Is How It All
Started and This Is How It Continues, the opera Prometheus (Greece–China Year of Culture),
and librettos such as Thesmophorian Dance: An Ode to the Earth, Zalongo: Women’s Dance,
Silence Symphony, and The Dance of the Ages: The Kore of Athens (Athens Concert Hall,
2025). She also contributed to Antonis Samarakis’ The Little Journey.
Ηer innovative project Ask the Questionmark expand her vision into storytelling, artificial
intelligence, and experiential learning. Her latest book, Eyes on the Windowsill (2025), is
already available on Amazon and will soon be published in Greek. Founder and CEO
of ANTHOS MCE, she studied Greek Philology (Linguistics) and trained in leadership,
marketing, and family support. She mentors women, supports vulnerable groups, and at
Campion School has served as Greek Language and Culture Coordinator, Assistant Head, and
Development Manager.
