Mrs Mahi Georgakopoulou is an esteemed global economist and strategist whose career spans four continents. Educated in London and specilized in Econometrics, she has built a career at the intersection of finance, strategic growth and technology.Currently, she is based in London where she serves as Head of Economic Analysis and Risk Management in a global fund specializing in ESG investments. Mrs Georgakopoulou is a member of the Governing Board of the University of Patras and serves in the Steering Committee at the British Archaelogical School at Athens. She is also the President of Hellenic Female Leaders UK, a pioneering platform empowering women in business, academia and public life. Notably, Ms. Georgakopoulou was the first Honorary Economic Commissioner of Greece in Hong Kong, where she played an important role in fostering economic collaboration with China and promoting cultural relations, a mission she has pursued since 1994. Passionate about education, Ms. Georgakopoulou has pioneered the concept of the “Invisible CV”, mentoring students internationally on how skills, values and experiences beyond formal degrees shape next generation to lead with purpose in a complex world.
