Panagiotis Sakellaropoulos is an employee of the Ministry of Finance (Independent Authority for Public Revenue - IAPR). He has been elected as a Regional Councillor since 2011. In the past, he has served as Deputy Regional Governor for Administration, Finance, and Fiscal Control, President of the Financial Committee of the Region of Western Greece (P.D.E.), and Assistant Regional Governor - Appointed Advisor with responsibilities for Planning, Studies, and Agri-food Development Programs. He is a regular member of the Regional Committee.

He is the President of DAKE Tax Officials of Achaea - Ilia - Zakynthos - Kefallinia - Ithaca and a member of the Board of Directors of the Tax Officials Association.

He has served as a special associate of the current Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Mr. Konstantinos Kyranakis, the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andreas Katsaniotis, Konstantinos Karagounis, the former Deputy Minister of Justice, Transparency, and Human Rights, the former Deputy Minister of Finance, Antonis Bezas, and the former Deputy Minister of Labour, Nikos Nikolopoulos.

He maintains continuous social action through his presence in collectives as a member of the Association for Social Welfare and Understanding. Additionally, he is a member of the Patras Hunting Association and a Bone Marrow Donor.

He was born in Peristera, Akrata, Aigialeia and lives in Patras. He is married to Lamprini Pliakoura, an Aesthetist - Business Executive.
