Mario Grubišić is Head of the FutureLAB sector in the Directorate for Communication within the European Committee of the Regions (CoR). As part of his responsibilities, he is in charge of coordinating the Young Elected Politicians (YEP) programme of the CoR. The programme brings together locally and regionally elected politicians under 35 and introduces them in the decision-making processes of the European Union. Before this, he was Team Coordinator for the Climate, Energy and Green Deal sector of the commission for Environment, Climate change and Energy (ENVE). As Team Coordinator, he was in charge of the Green Deal Going Local initiative, that encompasses the various policy areas tied to the European Green Deal within the CoR.
