Valbona Begolli – Executive Director & Tourism Business Expert Valbona Begolli is a seasoned tourism and business development expert with over 15 years of entrepreneurial and managerial experience. She currently serves as Executive Director of Albgroup, a diversified business group comprising Albooker, Albacademy, Albsolution, and Albpastrim, where she oversees strategy, operations, and innovation across all departments. Ms. Begolli holds academic qualifications in Information Technology, supplemented by advanced studies in Business and Project Management, providing her with a robust combination of technical, strategic, and operational expertise. She has successfully led numerous national and international initiatives, delivering measurable outcomes in tourism product development, destination marketing, and business strategy. Through Albacademy, she implements capacity-building and professional development programs aimed at enhancing the skills of tourism and business professionals. Her programs emphasize innovation, sustainable practices, digital transformation, and international collaboration, equipping participants with competencies aligned with European standards. Ms. Begolli currently serves as project leader for multiple Erasmus+ projects, including LEADERS FOR FUTURE, WARP, and SUSTAINTOUR, managing all aspects of project design, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and dissemination. Under her leadership, these projects focus on skills development, sustainable tourism, entrepreneurship, and international networking, ensuring strong impact and long-term sustainability. A passionate advocate for women’s economic empowerment, she is a founding member of the Women’s Economic Chamber of Albania (WECA), promoting entrepreneurship, leadership, and professional growth among women. Her leadership combines strategic vision, sector expertise, and hands-on project management, driving innovation, sustainable growth, and international collaboration across the tourism and business sectors in Europe.
