Darius Sadeckas is a highly experienced professional in public finance, currently serving as the Vice-Minister of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania since December 2024. With over two decades of experience in the public sector, he has held several key roles within the Ministry of Finance, including Vice-Minister of Finance (2016-2020, 2023-2024), Advisor to the Minister of Finance (2020-2023), and Deputy Director of the Budget Department (2008-2016). Additionally, he has contributed to the field of education as a lecturer at the International Business School of Vilnius University (2004-2012).
