Katerina Mitsotaki has been successfully active in the real estate sector for the past twenty years — initially as the founder of Real Est8, and since 2017 as Director and CEO of BARNES Greece, the Greek branch of the international luxury real estate network BARNES. She led the establishment of BARNES in the Greek market, aiming to align the local real estate sector with international standards and to develop comprehensive services for the management, promotion, and enhancement of high-end properties. During the economic crisis and beyond, she successfully maintained and strengthened her position in the industry, attracting foreign investors and highlighting Greece as a premier destination for luxury real estate investments. More recently, in light of new developments in the property market, she has emphasized the growing interest among international investors in luxury residences, as well as the diversity of properties being sought — ranging from urban penthouses to secluded island villas.
