Konstantin Valkov is an university lecturer, accomplished media specialist and journalist from Bulgaria. Writing stories and doing interviews for Rhythm newspaper, Egoist magazine, the Bulgarian Section of the BBC, and Bulgarian National Darik Radio, he began his career at the age of 15. Since the beginning of 2025, he serves as the Director of Special Projects and a journalism lecturer at New Bulgarian University. He has also been the Program Director of Darik Radio for 20 years. He has written for numerous magazines, such as Monocle, Port, and L'Europeo, and frequently appears as an expert on Bulgarian TV. He publishes Perfect Day, a biannual magazine, and serves as its editor-at-large. Additionally, he hosts the recently created and incredibly prominent "The Bureau of Konstantin Valkov" podcast, which has interviews with experts and politicians such as Ivan Krastev, Ehud Olmert, and Ahmed Davutoglu.
