Andrea Ferrero

Andrea Ferrero is a Professor of Economics at the University of Oxford, a Senior Research Fellow at Trinity College, and a CEPR Research Fellow. After graduating with a PhD from NYU in 2006, he was an economist in the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for seven years. He held visiting positions at various universities and central banks.
He is currently an academic consultant for the Bank of England. His research has appeared in top professional publications, including the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, the Economic Journal, and the Journal of Monetary Economics.
Recently, he has been studying the determinants of low real interest rates, the international transmission of financial shocks, and the interaction between different policy tools.
