Alex Athanassoulas is the President of Sustainable Building Council of Greece (www.sbcgreece.org), part of the World Green Building Councils (https://worldgbc.org/), the biggest Sustainability network for the Built Environment in the world, the President and CEO of STIRIXIS Group, and the Vice President of CEO Clubs Greece .He holds a Masters in Civil Engineering (MCivEng) from Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki Greece and an International Master in Business Administration (MBA) with distinction, from the Adam Smith Business School of Glasgow University in Great Britain. Alex is recognized as the Best European CEO in Retail Development from European CEO Awards in 2015, and as the Best European CEO in 2018 from AI Global Excellence Awards, International Game-changer of the Year by ACQ Global Awards 2019, among “The 20 Most Inspiring Business Leaders to Follow in 2023” by the Inc. Magazine, and a Postgraduate Leadership Award by the AMBA & BGA Excellence Awards 2024.
