Dr. Jeries Besarat is a postdoctoral researcher at the Knowledge and Intelligent Informatics Laboratory, University of Ioannina, and the founder & CEO of Polikatikia.gr—a platform transforming facility management through intelligent, user-centric solutions. With over 15 years of experience in designing large-scale information systems, he combines deep academic expertise with hands-on product leadership to drive innovation and market impact. Holding a PhD in AI-driven location prediction from the University of Patras, Dr. Besarat has been recognized in several national and international innovation competitions. His research spans machine learning, recommendation systems, and genetic AI, with 20+ publications and leadership in over 10 European R&D projects.
