Eleni Theodorou
I am a professional in the field of venture philanthropy and impact investing. I am
mobilizing capital across Europe to do good, fuel communities that need it the most and kick
start impact economies!
In the past I worked for international organizations and multinational companies such as the
United Nations and Nestlé amongst others, on the ground but also in Geneva and Brussels.
At the age of 30 I am leading strategy and philanthropic relations as Director at We Share
Forward Foundation, a Dutch foundation that funds and invests in social entrepreneurship
and education through a revolving funding model; based in the Hague. 

I am a Trustee and Supervisory Board Member at the Centre for Access to Football in Europe, 

an organization working to improve access and inclusion for disabled people in football and the main CSR partner of UEFA. 

I am a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader and ambassador for the Erasmus+ programme by the EU Commission.
I completed the Executive Program at Said Business School, Oxford University in
Impact Investing. I graduated with a Master's in International Affairs from the Graduate
Institute of International And Development Studies in Geneva. 

Currently, I am exploring the power of impact investing and venture philanthropy through blended finance and co-funding strategies, 

steering a consortium of 16 funders and impact investors addressing access to healthcare in Subsaharan 

Africa through blended finance.
One of my goals is to bring the knowledge of social finance in Greece and mobilize capital to
address the hardest and toughest social and environmental challenges in our country.
