Dr. Vasilis Gregoriou has been Chairman and CEO of Advent Technologies Holdings Inc. since inception. In addition, he is an internationally known scientist with research and managerial positions in the U.S. (Northeastern University, MIT, Polaroid Corporation, Princeton University) and Greece (NHRF, FORTH). Dr. Gregoriou is the co-inventor of 16 patents and his published work as co-author includes three books and over 100 scientific papers. Dr. Gregoriou has 25+ years of experience in the U.S. market, focusing on the technical development of new products and the management of such activities. He holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Duke University and attended Northeastern University's MBA program. He was also an NRSA award recipient at Princeton University and served as President of Society for Applied Spectroscopy in 2001.
