Alumni of the Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw, Poland (1997).
He started his professional career in 1996 as a specialist for media and public relations at the University of Warsaw’s Information and Promotion Office. From 1997 he worked as the deputy head of the Office and deputy spokesperson of the University and later in 2002 became the head and spokesperson.
His diplomatic career started in 2007 at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in India, where he worked as a counsellor for culture and science, responsible also for development projects. In 2011 he became a consul.
After returning from his posting he resumed working for the University of Warsaw in 2014 r. where he coordinated its' 200th anniversary.
In 2015 he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a head of Protocol Division, within the Bureau for the Preparation of the NATO 2016 Summit in Poland.
From 2016 he worked in the Department of Consular Affairs (from 2017 as the Head of the Division for Africa, Americas, Asia and Australia). On October 6, 2017 he was appointed the Director of the Press Office and acting spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2018 to 2020 he was the Director of Human Resources Office.
On July 20, 2020 Artur Lompart assumed headship of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Greece.
Married, two children.
