Angel Ivanov is Acting Executive Director of the InvestBulgaria Agency, where he leads Bulgaria’s national investment promotion efforts, including the certification and support of strategic investment projects. He works closely with government institutions, municipalities and international investors to improve the business environment and facilitate high-value investments in Bulgaria. Angel Ivanov has extensive experience in public administration, international economic relations and corporate management. Prior to his current role, he held senior positions at the National Social Security Institute and the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria, and headed the Commercial Section at the Embassy of Bulgaria in Moscow. He has also held executive positions in the private sector. He graduated with honours from the Moscow State Institute for International Relations and speaks English, German and Russian.
