Michael Mavroleon graduated in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens and, on a scholarship, pursued postgraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, where he received an MSc from the Institute of Building Science. In 1983, he returned to Greece and founded A&M.

Today, as President & CEO of A&M Architects, he plays an active role in the practice’s strategic development and design direction. Over more than four decades, his work with A&M has spanned commercial and office spaces, hotels, residential projects, and large-scale developments across Greece and the Middle East.

He continues to play an active role in the design process, emphasizing collaboration, the exploration of new methodologies, and the maintenance of long-lasting relationships of trust with clients, which form the basis of A&M’s practice.
